Two opposing looks, but that's what happened when I was set with the task of creating two looks with one beautiful dress. The dress, a beautiful midi, asymmetric, draping red gown, was sent to me from VESTRY.COM (an online store specializing in top drawer ladies fashion), and I must admit, it was out of my comfort zone.

I would say that a majority of my wardrobe consists of pieces that are easy to style day to night, as I tend to wear cute little smocks, collars and sweet skirts. But with this new addition I became excited with what new looks I could create. It is probably only my second dress that allows me to show off a bit of cleavage (which, believe it or not guys, I aaaactually have!), and the dress hugs my figure in ALL of the right places.

First up, I had the grunge look. Where there is grunge, there is a leather jacket. But I decided to layer the dress with a striped thin jumper and belt to give the illusion of a skirt, but also because it can be pretty nippy out and about these days.. I topped the look off with a beanie and my trusty new Chelsea Boot Docs (with tootsie Primark frilly socks popping out). This kind of style was so up my street. Whilst wearing the dress in a way that made me feel very comfortable, and that I would be happy to hit the bar in, I was also feeling super glam!

For the second look, I did not hold back on the glamour. Red lippy? CHECK. Heels? CHECK. Clutch? CHECK. Okay, so maybe my clutch didn't quite scream glamour and sophistication as expected, but it's always important to show a bit of quirk, even when attending a formal event or wedding! I tried out the look with a few pieces of jewellery, but as Coco herself said; "When accessorizing, always take off the last piece you put on", and the woman was right - because the dress really speaks for itself.

If you are looking for the perfect Christmas dress (and hell aren't we all at this time of year?) then you should definitely check out - or why not just buy the dress featured on this post HERE? The quality of the garment is fantastic and a definite keeper in my wardrobe, so I would recommend it for sure!
